TONI&GUY was founded in London, UK in 1963 and has grown from a single salon to an international company comprising both salons and academies worldwide. TONI&GUY Singapore was founded in 1995 and continues to expand.

Forward 50 has been engaged over the years to design and build numerous TONI&GUY outlets in Singapore including Holland Village, East Coast (Siglap) branch and Rochester Mall.

Incorporating the brand’s first Keratase Hair Spa in Singapore, Toni & Guy’s brief was to step away from its traditional industrial interior style, for a contemporary and luxurious design theme. At the same time, the design of the Flagship Concept Store must reflect the cutting edge approach synonymous with the brand’s ethos.

Taking advantage of the wide 29m frontage, Forward 50 designed a modern origami-inspired aluminum cladding facade. An unusual choice for a shop front design, the cladding gives an exclusive feel when viewed from the outside, and provides privacy for the patrons within.

The interior was zoned into a reception and waiting area, a cutting zone, a washing area, a staff zone (with an office, a colour bar and a staff pantry), as well as a hair spa/ VIP cutting area.
